This lamp is made from a block of Hawaiian spalted Koa wood.
Slices were cut out of the block and filled with a red epoxy resin, which was then drilled out and lit from within with a bright LED bulb. The entire block was polished to 3000 grit, then finished with high gloss polyurethane. This is truly a one of a kind piece with a very dramatic effect.
