Hurricane Hugo Cherry Wood Block Desk Lamp with Telecaster Knob and Edison Bulb. Charlotte!
Charlotte people, this is history! This lamp is made from a block of Cherry wood from a tree downed in Charlotte during Hurricane Hugo in 1989. The wood has been drying in storage for almost 27 years.
The block is 2 inches thick, and left in it's natural color, with only semi gloss polyurethane applied for protection. Featuring a vintage style "Edison" bulb, and a heavy duty on/off switch. The edges still have the original chainsaw marks from when it was cleared!
